So, after talking to the Site supervisor (temporary supervisor as our actual SS is on annual leave since couple weeks), this afternoon, we knew that not much has been done onsite this whole week, except for stairs, eaves, render, entrance door and few other bits and pieces inside. No skirting, architrave, no kitchen or other cabinet work.
No kitchen was slightly disappointing as we were soo looking forward to see it.
Per him, there was some confusion over the kitchen cabinets that the cabinet makers were sent back to get the correct ones next week. He also said, next week should have a lot of improvement internally with all the above and also internal doors, all internal paint will go in and scaffold also to come down. Lets see. Hope our original supervisor could again bring back the speed from next week as he is returning from next Monday.
Here are the latest pictures ....

stairs, We should have opted for under stairs storage, we regret it now. See ! Almost a pantry room
sized space is going to be closed out now, making it unusable, mistake, mistake! |

They look narrower in the photos than they really are, we felt they are really wide, when we first saw them.
Guess who took the picture if we both are in the shot? :) |

Site Supervisor also indicated that around Xmas time they will have to slow down, and they won't fix few expensive items inside the house around holidays to avoid loosing them while on holidays... But he said we are still on track for a late February handover. Hope he is correct.
